Powder Coating

Powder coating is formed by application of powder to a substrate, after which the powder is fused into a continuous film by the application of heat or radiant energy.
Powder coating is preffered when a high specification coating is needed because it is relatively hard, abrasion resistant (depending on the specification) and tough. |

Black Oxide Coating

Black Oxide has unique properties, offering an ideal finish for the metal manufacturing industry. The finish will not chip, peel, or rub off. You can't achieve the same protection, appearance, and performance qualities with other finishing processes for the same low cost as black oxide.

Colors In Chromate

Applicable to most metal surfaces, these are low-temperature dip-bath processes that produce a chemical film of chromate which is extremely thin and does not alter dimensions. Coating color varies with the particular metal and alloy, & most often there is an iridescent color. Because there is no dimensional change, chromating can be applied to all gears, including precision, after tooth cutting.
